Why do we like this?

Dark electronic sounds a la Nicolas Jaar? You can count me in.

"Spectre" comes off French producer VIMALA's upcoming EP titled Stromboli. It's a slow-burning and delicate track, a trend that seems to be growing in popularity in France (eg: The Blaze). At just under 4-minutes in length it seems to hit the perfect balance of build-up-and-release -- an effect that puts me into a state of ease. I reckon "Spectre" would do well soundtracking a short film or scene.

The EP will be available in mid-November.
