Why do we like this?

It's kinda rare for an indie rock artist to release a 6-minute track these days, but trends be damned. Vilde is here to show us that there's no need to cut a good thing short.

The Australian's latest single "Hope You Forgive Everything You Can't" was inspired by the importance of meeting new people - something a lot of us haven't done much of in the last two years.

The song itself is easy-going and explorative. Arpeggios dart in and out of tight drumbeats and light singing. There's an almost carnival-esque atmosphere in the tap-tap of the backing synth.

All-in, our team agreed this was worth a feature. Hope you enjoy!
