"Flash In The Pan" is the first single taken from Melbourne-born, Stockholm-raised Vilde's forthcoming album Thud.
The project of former indie act Kins frontman Thomas Savage, Vilde weaves indie rhythms with driving electronica for the industries "Flash In The Pan." There's a touch of Radiohead about the experimental indie-meets-electronic feel of the tune, with Savage's understated vocals melding well with the inviting instrumentation. Of his upcoming album Vilde states;
Thud was a new experience for me. I realised that I felt like the last time I really knuckled down and dug into something was making the Kins album in 2012. I’d lost touch with the concept of work ethic in music. Everything since had been whimsical, I believed inspiration was reliable. My productivity waned. I felt an urge to prove to myself that I could actually commit to something and follow it through.
Thud is set for release this August.
