Up until 2018, Victor Solf was one half of the renowned band, Her. After the untimely passing of his bandmate, Simon Carpentier, Solf took it upon himself to follow his bandmate and close friend’s last wishes: to play the songs and sing the lyrics. And he has continued to do so with absolute passion and perfect feeling, honoring Carpentier by completing the album they’d started together before he passed. Subsequently, he released his solo album, Aftermath, in 2020, and several more singles over that year. “How Did We?” Is his first release for 2021.
