Why do we like this?
The good folks over at Stereofox seem to know exactly what floats my boat. This song by Verdance comes as their latest record label offering, and it's got exactly the downtempo-upbeat vibe my eardrums seem to crave these days.
UK-based Jake Brown is the man behind Verdance. He describes his approach as having a "garden-fresh aesthetic", which makes it a bit ironic that this song seems to focus on the ocean.
"Shore" is an easy-flowing electronic track that makes me feel a bit like a seagull drifting over a wind-battered coastline. A seagull with headphones, of course.
