Oh, hello, perfect electro-synth-pop single. Van She, pronounced "Van Ski," has just released an awesome track from their upcoming sophomore album due out this June on Modular People.
"Idea Of Happiness" is an incredible look at the upcoming creative genius to expect from the Australian quartet, giving bloggers everywhere a musical hard on. It's soft yet powerful, synths embracing Nicholas Routledge's dreamy boy-next-door vocals. A stupendous slowdown right close to the close of the track is a brilliant switch up, bringing listeners to a climatic, abrupt ending. I'm not sure if the listened to Kid Cudi while writing this track, but there's a serious resemblance to the chorus of Cudi's "Pursuit of Happiness" in a very, very delicious way.
