Why do we like this?

Vampire Weekend basically pumped out hit after hit with their self-titled 2008 debut release. With songs like "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa," "A-Punk" and "The Kids Don't Stand A Chance," they etched themselves into the ethos of anyone who liked indie pop, myself included. Even this song, "Oxford Comma," was able to climb the charts worldwide.

A couple days ago, we mentioned that Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanlij was scoring the film Sound Of My Voice. So, given that they're doing a big push for the movie in the United States, I figured it was only appropriate to hash up something from this 2008 album.

If you're keen to preview the first twelve minutes of that film, you can head over to the official Sound Of My Voice website.
