Why do we like this?

Vampire Weekend are gearing up to release their new album Vampires Of The Modern City in May, and yesterday unleashed two contrasting singles: "Step" and "Diane Young." I've embedded both below, but figured the more upbeat ought to take the cake as SOTD.

Interesting to note that Vampire Weekend's performance at the Rachel Ray SXSW showcase was one of the most popular of the entire event. The line was literally wrapped fully around an entire city block -- starting at the entrance, and making it's way back to the entrance. That's sorta like...four blocks, right? Clearly folks are pretty excited about this.
