Why do we like this?

Not too long ago, I received this slick track from Vacationer in my inbox. Mind you, it was quite some time ago -- about 4 months, to be precise. On first listen, I knew the track was a winner, but for some reason I didn't post it. Fortunately, while doing my morning hunt for music, "Trip" made its way back onto my radar.

Philly-based Vacationer has only released this one single to date, accompanied by a music video of trippy proportion. That is, of course, if you don't count the hour long "Paradise" mix on his Soundcloud. Both tracks embody a scratchy, chillwave vibe that reminds me of a number of the newer chillwave artists out there (Of Oceans, for example). Somehow that makes for a good summer vibe.
