Why do we like this?

Dreamy Portugues trio Vaarwell return this week with the swirling synth-pop wonder "Stay." The first taste of new music from the three since last year's debut album, Homebound 456, "Stay" is another brilliant track from Margarida Falcão, Ricardo Nagy and Luis Monteiro.

Shoegaze melodies meld with upbeat synths as Falcão’s intimate vocals reach into the depths of your heart and pull. It's a light-hearted look at meeting someone you find attractive only to discover they're more style over substance. As Falcão says about the track, it's the:

Realization that your evening crush isn’t that great once he starts talking.

"Stay" is beguiling and infectious and is another great tune from the Lisbon group.
