Why do we like this?

I get sent so much music that I sometimes forget what I agree to cover and what I don't. Such was the case with this release by Uquine, who's new single "Chocolate Cosmos" had completely slipped from my memory...

As such, hitting play on it after a long hiatus took me down the exact same journey that convinced me to cover it in the first place. While the build up is slow, the song graduates to a level of maturity that seems to eclipse the age of the young artist behind it (he was born in 1995). What's left is an ambient experience that I can't resist but share.
