What you're about to hear is a hell of a lot of vocal swagger being belted out through your speakers or headphones. It's some super jazzy sonic theater at its finest.
Unlike Pluto absolutely crushed the production on this, fusing new age quality sounds with samples from 1950's jazz records. He does it so well that it's no wonder he claims this is where the future of his music is heading. I certainly don't mind. Not when it's mixed so well considering all the bullshit music I have to listen to all week with the most terrible mixes.
To top off the excellent production he added a cherry on top in form of Desi Valentine. Mr. Valentine murders the vocal performance, putting even the most seasoned vets to shame with his flawless singing.
It's the most perfect balance of genres, elements, tones and textures on a three minute and fifty-three second tune that you will probably listen to today. It's space age electronic soulful jazz at its finest.
This is the kind of live performance I'd like to see on the Fhloston Paradise. ;)
