After dropping a fire remix of Cardi B's massive hit "Bodak Yellow" entitled "Wu-Dak Yellow" a few months back, Wu-Tang Clan member U-God is back with another remix. Golden Arms has teamed up with Method Man for the exclusive DJ Green Lantern remix of "Fire," a track originaly taken from his fourth album The Keynote Speaker.
This new version includes a snippet of a speech from Micheal Caine's Alfred taken from The Dark Knight that sets the scene for a head nodding remix. U-God and Method Man's verses are in tact, but Scotty Wotty's opening bars are scrapped, although he remains on the hook.
This is certainly a welcome update, with "Fire" retaining it's New York appeal and a good reminder to modern hip-hop fans why the Clan are so important in the genre's history.
