Tycho's back!This isone of my most anticipated album releasesof the year. Perfectly timed right before summer, "Easy" is the first look atTycho'supcoming, not-yet-titledfifth album.
This is theperfect way to get reacquainted with Tycho's ambient atmospheric sound. The best part about this release might be knowing there's a full album behind it that's yet to come.
The timing of this release, in between the two weekends at Coachella, reminds me of his set I saw in the Palm Springs desert a number of years ago. It was Scott Hansen on stage in a square formation with the rest of his band, literally banging out one of the finest live electronic sets I've ever seen.
Tycho is touring throughout July in Australia and Japan, and let's hope we'll get to see more of his genius on stage to time with the upcoming album release.
