Ty Segall is 2012's hardest working musician by a long shot. Not only has he already put out a collaboration album with the band White Fence, released a hard-rocking record from his namesake band titled SlaughterHouse AND toured the country with the San Francisco outfit Thee Oh Sees, but Ty has now recorded a solo album scheduled for release very soon. It's quite a feat that he has accomplished, and pretty amazing that each record sounds like time and care went into them. That's how Ty operates I guess, by cranking out great tunes faster than a normal human can even think of a chord to play.
This upcoming album, Twins, is looking like it will complete the trifecta for Ty this year, and might even be his best one yet. The first single off Twins is the Beatles-esque psychedelic song "The Hill," with background harmonies sung by Thee Oh Sees' Brigid Dawson. It's got all the fuzz we've come to expect from Ty, and it's hard not to get caught up in the excitement of every track. There are many more great tunes waiting for you inside his newest album, so make sure you pick it up as soon as it comes out.
