Yes, I know, there are a LOT of remixes out there for Two Door Cinema Club's "Sun," but trust me -- for some reason or another, this particular rework by LNTG (Late Nite Tuff Guy) will put you in a pretty good mood.
As it turns out, LNTG (Cam Bianchetti) is from Adelaide, and just recently won the remix competition for Jamiroquai's "Too Young To Die" with a slow-burning old school soul/R&B rework of the original. When approached by Two Door Cinema Club to try his hand at reworking one of their originals from Beacon, I'd say he was pretty stoked.
The result of the pairing is phenomenal. LNTG has given "Sun" this wonderfully chilled out atmosphere using the initial signature guitar lines and a bouncy syncopated rhythm. I could honestly listen to the start of the song over and over again -- it is a truly a well crafted edit.
