Why do we like this?
For some reason or the other I expected that this track would be a typical, upbeat indie pop remix of Two Door Cinema Club. And why not think that? It's basically the same approach taken to 99% of their remixed songs.
Oh, how wrong I was! Instead, The Knocks appear to be channeling a bit of Friendly Fires with their adaptation of "Sleep Alone," with a result that's completely and absolutely infectious after the first few months.
It's funky, it's futuristic, and it's promising as regards the future of the prolific New York-based duo, The Knocks.
