Why do we like this?

"Matador" is the new single from Brooklyn indie pop trio Twin Wave.

Taken from their forthcoming five-track EP, Pour Out The Dark..., "Matador" is a dreamy, psychdelic-pop fantasy inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s bullfighting-as–art passages in The Sun Also Rises.

There's a joyous bounce to the enigmatic headbopping guitar riffs, and I can't help but hear a little Men At Work during the opening sequences of "Matador." With production duties handled by Tommy Eichmann (Alex Winston) it's easy to see why "Matador" is such a vibrant and eclectic song.

Pop music never sounded so good.
