A Physical Break For an Emotional Evolution
Twin Tooth comes from nowhere and hits me with spoken word and electronica that gives me chills.
I've always loved spoken word, especially accompanied spoken word — the use of instrumentation to a verse or free word poem makes everything just hit so much harder, it gives everything a complete feel.
"Gap Year" is a perfect combination of moving verse and rhythmic electro. The way it fights between these two different streams is something that you not only feel but experience.
It's a magnificent little introduction to what Twin Tooth is and I can't wait to hear more.
