Why do we like this?

19-year-old rapper and producer Tunji Ige is the next big thing in the hip-hop world. Everyone from Stereogum to Hot New Hip Hop has been praising the West Chester University sophomore's debut release, The Love Project, and for good reason.

Falling somewhere in between the moody, atmospheric, emotional pull of Drake and The Weeknd and the sing-rap delivery of Kid Cudi, it's hard to believe Ige recorded the album in his dorm room.

"Day2Day" is one of my favorite tracks off the album, where Ige's joined by fellow rapper Wonda over a jumpy, club inspired beat reminiscent of Cudi's "Day N Nite."
