Why do we like this?

Let me make one thing quite clear: tUnE-yArDs is a very hard artist to get a good playlist going for on Indie Shuffle. Why? Because Merrill Garbus is mind-blowingly unique.

"Water Fountain" is the first official single off her upcoming album Nikki Nack, due for release on May 6th via 4AD. The song is wonderfully upbeat, infusing elements of funk, soul and world-music in a manner unlike any other artist out there.
