Hello Vera
Why do we like this?
Melbourne five-piece Tullly on Tully is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Natalie Foster. Formed in 2011, the band will be releasing their debut album later this year after a number of successful single releases gained popularity locally. This LP will include the recently released track "Stay," on which they collaborated with fellow Melbournite Hayden Calnin (who was recently selected amongst Triple J's Next Crop for 2013).
A charming and upbeat song, it comes as no surprise that this was originally a poem given its measured rhythm. Foster has one of those voices impossible not to fall for, and combined with the strong tones of Calnin, it's a perfect match. The backing is simple but fresh, and with two great vocalists, it's all you need.
I like these guys a lot. You probably will too.
