Why do we like this?

My ongoing and everlasting goal is to stop being to Western-focused in my consumption of, well, everything. While Japan's tricot now have me knee-deep in a part of SoundCloud I have never previously explored, it was actually the music video for "Melon Soda" that first led me to this trio. 

It's very bright and I still don't quite understand how the backwards footage aligns syncs so perfectly with the lyrics, but even that confusion's not enough to stop me from bouncing along. Honestly, may math rock live on forever, and may tricot keep paving the way with tracks as seamless and unpredictably fun as this.
