Why do we like this?
Triathalon's single, "Day One" is a seductive, slithering indie R&B slow jam. Once it starts, you're quickly pulled into its atmospheric trance.
The constantly-evolving style of this band shows its appetite for experimentation and imagination. Its electro-centric sound paired with off-kilter vocals creates an obscurely prolific product. In a way, the song sticks to a simple layout, but as you dig deeper it can be considered as reading outside the lines. And isn't that fearlessness of stepping outside the box something to be noticed and appreciated? Triathalon does it well.
