Why do we like this?
Currently based out of Nashville, Trevor James Tillery follows up his 2016 release In Moonlight with a single-a-month album begun in March 2017.
"Immortalize" is the third track off of Together.Alone, for which Tillery worked with producer Joshua D. Niles and writer/producer Phil Danyew.
Like the gold he imagines in the song, the track shines and sparkles with all the bells and whistles of an indie electronic pop staple. It dreams of and idealizes someone who might not even be real: a stranger on the street, a Tinder match, a friend of a friend, a lost love. But Tillery embellishes this vivid imagination with optimism, transforming what could be into something (musically) timeless.
