Why do we like this?
Whisper it very quietly, but trance might just be making a comeback.
For a long time one of dance music's most maligned genres, a new wave of producers are starting to cherrypick some of the genre's best moments and rejuvenating the sound.
In a move arguably kick-started by Scuba's monumental "Adrenalin," we've since had Evian Christ's Trance parties and releases from the likes of Kowton, Four Tet and Bicep.
The latest part of the trance revival is more explicit in its aims, from the source material - CRW's "I Feel Love" - to the name.
"Trance 2" is the highlight of the anonymously produced series - cop that, and the rest of the tracks, here.
