Sounds like:
Chrome Sparks,
Washed Out
Why do we like this?
Trails And Ways have been making all sorts of noise this year. Their songs "Nunca" and "Mtn Tune" rank among some of our favorites, as do their covers of Miike Snow and M83. Basically they've emerged from out of nowhere to become one of 2012's buzz bands.
So as supporters of good music, it only made sense that we'd bring you one of the first remixes for which they are the subject: Seshen's take on "Border Crosser."
What I like about this track is that it adds a whole new fuzzed out, dreamy synth layer to the somewhat tropical style of the original song by Trails And Ways. You could almost call it "chillwave," and that's totally groovy in my book.
