Why do we like this?

Gosh oh gosh. I get sent a lot of slow-burning pop singles that feature female vocalists, but for some reason or another, this one managed to stick.

In all seriousness, it probably has to do with the amazing melody and chord progression. It caught me instantly, and every time I've listened to it since I can't help but melt a little bit inside.
