Why do we like this?

I like to think that Tourist made a song for me. Okay so maybe he didn’t make it specifically for me, but it’s still nice to think that maybe he did. And if he didn’t make it just for me, which Sarah did he make it for?

Regardless of who Sarah is, this track one of my favorites off his debut album that dropped earlier this month. I’ve been so wrapped up in the enormity of the amazing albums out this month (hello James Blake, Kaytranada, Chance The Rapper, Radiohead), and despite those names, Tourist’s debut full length has remained prominent in my mind. I keep coming back to U to listen carefully and to mine for gems like this track.

And, oh oh! This track marks my 200th review on Indie Shuffle. Nice! I picked a fitting one for the occasion—a track with my name in it and one from a producer I’ve been waiting on a debut full length for a long time.
