Zeds Dead makes me so overwhelmed. Not only am I showing signs of patriotism (due to the fact that they are from Toronto, as am I), but also signs of musical intoxication. Their energy and presence is truly stimulating and translates so unbelievably well both on and off stage. Zeds Dead's remix of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs' "Household Goods" has such a calming effect, yet doesn't fail to hint toward their signature wobble.
Zeds Dead consist of two of the hardest workers known in the EDM community: DC and Hooks. First having harmonized in 2004, the official birth of the duo's musical career began in summer of 2009, where they felt they arrived at a sound they could agree on. Ever since, the two closely work with numerous genres, showing their diverse range of talent as producers and preventing any bearings to limit their style and form.
This remix of "Household Goods" is definitely one of their milder tracks, but it just goes to show how easily they are able to transcend. Their trademark method of "turning up the bpm and aiming the bass-lines at the dance floor" is most definitely not completely lost within this remix, just merely subdued.
