Toro y Moi has proven to be a versatile performer going from a narrative-driven "Postman" to a soul-infused "The Loop." This leaves me very excited to hear the next track on their minds.

I almost immediately got a smile on my face when I heard the rhythm and soulful bass sounds of this track. Having just got the "Postman" earworm out of my head, Toro y Moi goes ahead and plants a new one.

"The Loop" is proof that Toro Y Moi isn't going to be held back by his choice of genre — it can be narrative, soulful, or funkadelic — it doesn't matter, they're going to do what they want and they do it well.

This is a soulful urban sound that is filled with soul, r&b, and creative design.
