Why do we like this?

I was definitely skeptical when this song start. The vocals are... weird. After a few seconds I put that reaction aside, because it turns out Toro Y Moi has pulled off a wonderfully groovy and unique song.

"Freelance" gives off a serious Daft Punk vibe, and not just for the auto-tuned vocal element. There's some sort of funky French house element infused throughout, and, well... yeah. Digging it.

"Freelance" will appear on his upcoming album Outer Peace, due on January 18th.
