"Why Won't You Wait" comments on the strength of its narrative-based relationship - it's a simple premise: 'why won't you wait for me, just be patient.' It takes a simple premise of gripping onto someone and boosts it with a beautifully filling audio sound.
Like a forest, the track sounds deep, enthralling, and huge while still staying very calmly in the lines of the chillwave genre. It makes a statement even if it does so softly.
