Why do we like this?
It's been almost a year since Together PANGEA put out Bulls and Roosters, their latest angst-ridden full length release. It was loud, grimy, and attention-seeking. But now, we get something different -- something tame.
Just last week they put out Sleeping Til Sunset, an EP featuring four acoustic takes. And wow, it's good. "Friend of Nothing" is a personal favorite, but you can't go wrong with the new rendition of "Money on It" featuring heavy tambourine and a funky bar piano. I almost wish they released an album of this stuff instead.
