If you're still sleepy, listen to this track now -- I guarantee it'll work better than any coffee. This is where my secret love for big, heavy, epic electronic music comes out.
I have a permanent place in my heart for TNGHT, the short-lived collaboration between Hudson Mohawke and Lunice. I managed to see them before they went on hiatus and, yes, it was epic.
Now, RL Grime has revisited their 2013 single "Acrylics," breathing new life into a serious banger of a track. Retaining a lot of the heaviness of the original, it's a little faster, a little fuzzier, and just as intense. The build-up and then (obviously) the drop are all kinds of explosive, but it's those huge, stompy beats and bass that take it to a whole new level.
Proving himself to be one hell of a remixer, this is just as good as the original single.
