Why do we like this?

My tastes are all over the place lately. On the same day I'm drawn to commercial efforts by Vince Staples and Kendrick Lamar, I also find myself vibing to a relatively unknown artist known as TL.

Serving as both rapper and producer on featured tune "Sicko," TL represents the DMV honorably here. The beat is menacing, and clearly not here to make friends. I like that. I also like that with each listen I find another lyrical nugget to roll up and enjoy.
