Why do we like this?

18-year-old rapper Tkay Maidza is blowing up all over the world right now. Like the Australian Azealia Banks without the shit talking, Maidza is currently getting it done in the States before returning to OZ for a national tour.

To celebrate her recent success, the Adelaide-by-way-of-Zimbabwe youngster has released the Switch Tape Mix Tape for her rabid fanbase.

Clocking in at just over 30 minutes, the 18-track mixtape is like a rap show in your speakers, showcasing the hyperactive flow of Maidza on tracks such as "U-huh" and "Brontosaurs." 

Produced by Paces, "Switch Lanes" is a personal favorite, with Maidza dropping machine gun fire lyrical hits over a boppy, UK house beat that will have the kids shaking their booties in the club.
