Why do we like this?
Cold weather is synonymous with deep, dark humming beats. It just is. I also know, from living in warmer climates for extended periods of time, that it's harder to appreciate dark house in that environment. I only say this because from now until the winter breaks, tracks like "Don't Like Me" will be the perfect mood for Detroiters and other cold weather dwellers.
UK-based producer Tim Green is most likely feeling the shift too; then again, he's is no stranger to putting out this breed of electronic music -- the UK is a consistently gray place.
"Don't Like Me" comes in hard and is a strong addition to his forthcoming EP via Cocoon Recordings, which also includes the brilliantly titled track "Humming Syrup."
