Sydney band Tigertown are gearing up to release their new EP next month. Ahead of the release, they recently dropped new single "Bullet From The Gun," marking their long-awaited return to the scene.
The track received its mighty premiere by way of Beats 1 Radio, and has quickly made the rounds online ever since.
Opening, or rather exploding with a huge synths and heavenly vocals, the track plays around with feathery lightness and near-industrial heaviness. That blend of fine vocals and bright synths with heady percussion and distorted synths makes this a really interesting track from start to end. Yes, this kind of electro-pop is a totally oversaturated style, but it only makes tracks like this stand out among the crowd.
Tigertown are releasing another new single this week, both of which will feature on their upcoming EP Lonely Cities, out on Friday, February 5 via Inertia/Neon Gold Records/Atlantic Records.
