Why do we like this?
When Pigeons and Planes described Tiger Tsunami as "inspired by artists like Flying Lotus, Bonobo and Minus The Bear," I couldn't help but have a hard time believing it. How could that combination possibly go together?
In reality, the mish-mash of styles on "Antarctica" works really, really well. Set to be released on an upcoming EP in May, it's one of three tracks uploaded to Soundcloud by the artist -- with the other two taking a slightly more mellow electronic approach.
Overall, I'm certainly keen to keep looped-in on new releases by this artist!
