If you've followed Those Darlins from the beginning, it's plain to see and hear that this band has greatly evolved.
Their single "Female Trouble" is a perfect example of that. Steering away from the lo-fi garage/grunge sound, they've still got their finger on the pulse of indie rock in its original sense. The twangy sound is still there, but this time it's paired with congos and an organ. This mixture provides a unique sound that Those Darlins can call all their own.
Did I mention that Those Darlins are gracefully bowing out? Unfortunately, they're currently on their last tour ever. Soon they'll be legendary.
