Why do we like this?

There's so much to say about the talented 19-year-old Thomas Stoneman and his latest single "Collarbones," but I'm going to let the music do most of the talking.

This is one of those rare singles that has the capacity to leave you hauntingly fragile and really quite exposed. It's hard to believe that this young man from Auckland is writing and co-producing all his music with so much sincerity and openness.

The very sentiment of this song -- reaching out to a classmate suffering from an eating disorder -- is enough to truly move you. This is what song writing is all about.

"Collarbones" forms part of the Backbone EP, due for release in April!
