Thom Yorke Twist

All hail the prolific Thom Yorke! I mean this guy has come out of his usually timid shell and has been laying shit down for fans worldwide to enjoy. The past month, Yorke himself has made several musical guest appearances, spinning sets for local radio stations, XM stations, and even playing surprise shows. Seriously, what can't he do? I don't know the answer to that question, but I do know that he's recently released some pretty sick mixes for our listening pleasure.

Money Back is a 25-minute long DJ mix for XFM and it includes remixes of Radiohead favorites, his own personal remixes and "Twist," his latest solo effort. "Twist" is a heavy electro track full of thrumming beats, pulsating rhythms, and Yorke's soft-spoken voice repeating the word "twist" over and over again.

Overall, this entire mix is any Thom Yorke/Radiohead fans' dream: a well-crafted, extensive playlist packed with dubby tracks, tribal beats, remixed vocals and highly danceable oeuvres. I say job well done, sir. Check out the full version of the Money Back mix here (via Stereogum).
