I'd venture to guess that no one was surprised when Thom Yorke's debut solo album The Eraser ended up actually being good. Released back in 2006, it rocketed straight up the charts everywhere, and enjoyed a positive reception among music bloggers worldwide.
Indie Shuffle didn't exist at the time, but I have no doubt that I would have jumped at the opportunity to give the record a glowing review as well. Particularly given the incredibly strong start of the opening track, "The Eraser."
So, six years later, I thought I'd bring this one back into your playlists. That is, of course, assuming you haven't been dusting this record off repeatedly over the years.
