Why do we like this?
I've been harping on about Sydney electronic producer Thief for some time now, so it's nice to finally see him getting some credit. His Closer EP has resulted in a break-out of sorts, with the release featuring heavily online and receiving plenty of local radio attention.
Thief is currently in the process of releasing a remix package for the EP's single "Broken Boy," with a number of local producers adding their flavor to the hit. Fellow Sydney act Diamond Cut is one of them, with his version giving the poppy original a more computerized, robotic feel with less focus on vox combined with plenty of driving synths.
