Why do we like this?

thesecondsex's single, "In A Mood," is the perfect example of the experimental, indie R&B genre done right.

The glimmering yet off kilter synths pair perfectly with the silky vocals. The bass is up front and center with its funky yet reserved style, while the drums are slightly jazz-focused but still providing the impressive foundation to a seriously infectious track. thesecondsex have basically came from nowhere and will most likely land right at the top of this movement with the best in class.
