Why do we like this?
I know these are going to start flooding in like mad, but of the handful of "Chained" remixes that I've heard thus far, Common Citizens have done the best job highlighting the emotion of the original.
"Chained" was, per standard The xx material, quite down-tempo and minimal. A lot of remixes have added thumping percussion and bass, but Common Citizens made the right move by simply choosing to highlight the original song's beauty with some light drum work. Oh, and saxophone.
