Why do we like this?
It's sad when a band breaks up, but rad when another one emerges from the ashes. Such is the case with Cape Town's Al Bairre and The World Of Birds.
We picked up on the band's debut single "Open Up" not too long ago, and are stoked to now be able to share a second single by the name "Having You." The song sets a lazy/easy-going tempo, with Nic Preen's recognizable vocals leading the way through a variety of melodic twists and turns.
So far this makes the band's run two for two -- a solid metric when trying to make a splash in the super-saturated international indie scene. Here's hoping the third one's just as nice.
