The Weeknd Wicked Games (Coeur de Pirate Cover)

With the recent release of their mixtape Thursday, the covers and remixes are flowing in at a steady pace. They've been a mixed bag for the most part, but when I stumbled upon this cover by 21-year-old French-Canadian artist Coeur de Pirate, I knew instantly that it was going to be worthy of Song of the Day.

Béatrice Martin started playing piano when she was three years old, and briefly played in a post-hardcore band when she was 15. That all changed when she released her debut album in 2008, winning accolades throughout Europe and Quebec.
