Why do we like this?

Remixes of The Weeknd's "What You Need" were a dime a dozen when the track first came out. Some were great, and some were pretty terrible.

One person who didn't release one at the time was The Weeknd's Canadian contemporary, Jacques Greene.

That's not to say he didn't make one, and if you went to any of his shows around then, you may have heard this one. Jacques has been digging through an old hard drive and found this edit he did from back in 2011.

It's a shame we didn't get to hear it at the time, because it would have definitely been one of the better remixes of the track available. Never mind that, because now he's brought the tune back to our attention. As Jacques himself says, it's one for late nights. Head over to his SoundCloud to get yourself a free copy.
